What inspired you to write The Arkwell Academy series? I'm just so in love with this series, haha LOL

Ahhhh! So glad to hear it. That's wonderful. Primary my inspiration came from the folklore surrounding nightmares and also the painting "The Nightmare" by Henry Fuseli. In that painting, the nightmare is a little demon-ish creature sitting on a woman's chest. I wanted to reverse that image and put the woman in a position of power.

I just started reading The Nightmare Charade today and am already seeing some potential spin-off material, particularly about the history of the Animus Mortem/Death's Heart (and Genghis Khan). Would you, or have you, ever considered a spinoff(s) of the special artifacts/objects in this series?
