As 'committed' as I am to Maisie, Perhaps you've answered this and I've missed your response, but I really can't imagine that "A Dangerous Place" is simply a one-off. You aren't leaving this very intriguing story line... are you?

Not sure which aspect of the storyline you're referring to, however, I think one thing is evident, and that is Maisie's intention to come home to see her father, and to reconnect with those she loves - when she is ready.

Not a question but I just wanted to say I discovered Maisie Dobbs, a few years ago, and the books are still one of my favourites, in the detective genre. I have bought a number of the books as gifts for friends. Thank you. I am sure many of us wish we could write as well as you do, so if you have some advice?
