The best thing is to leave your desk and go for a walk and think about where your story is going and try and think of an unusual twist. I haven't had too many blocks and have taken a few days out to try and think of a good endings for my characters. I have heard that if you leave a sentence that you know how to finish half done to go back to, your writing will continue after that - I don't know if that works.
