I think I already asked a question to you and mentioning about my passion for your book MLND (which, I cant keep my mind off because everything relates to it). But I have another question. Why did you have Sam and Jase have sex even though there so young? Is it because of the love or for the drama? Also, Who inspired you to invent George?
Huntley Fitzpatrick
I thought long and hard about Sam and Jase taking things to that level. In the original version of MLND, it took place over a year, rather than a summer, so everything moved a lot slower. However, with the way they both felt about one another, it seemed appropriate. I wanted to show that when both characters truly care, it can be a loving, tender, deepening way of knowing and loving one another.
George is, in fact, heavily based on my own son. He's the only character I've written who really is based on someone from real life.

Just wanted to start off by saying I absolutely loved My Life Next Door! Definitely one of the best books I've read in a while and one of my new favorites!I The end left me craving for more between Jase & Sam. Are you thinking of a possible sequel with those two as the protagonists again (though I am totally excited for The Boy Most Likely To) even if it would be a New-Adult book?

Also, is Viv and Spence's relationship something you would consider exploring more? The Spence we saw through Gwen's eyes and the Spence that emerged at the bonfire are two totally different people. Who is the real Spence and does Viv have anything to do with the emergence of the latter version? I'm a sucker for companion books (can't wait for TBMLT!) I think I love them more than sequels!
