Hello, I just finished The Madman's Daughter, and I loved it. I was wondering how you came up with this idea for the book?

Megan Shepherd Hi! The original inspiration for the book was the TV show LOST. I was reading Dracula at the same time, and something about the combination of a mysterious island and a historical novel reminded me of The Island of Dr Moreau, which my book is based on.
