Depends your/your family's standards. Mild Language and Adult themes.
Rape is commonly talked about, because of the noblemen's tendency to take a skaa (slave) woman, rape her, and kill her in one night. There is also some language, but it's not chock full of it. It doesn't drop the f-bomb ever, if that's what you're worried about. Adult in terms of the standards of my family, but it may not be viewed as an adult novel because of it's genre and their own standards. Just be careful.(less)
