A Goodreads user asked:

I bought Touch & Go not realizing it was the "second" book in the Tessa series. Is it okay to read Touch & Go without reading the Detective D.D. Warren series?

Kirstin Juul I did the same thing! Good to know they are stand alone books.
Kerry Yes, it's ok to read. They are pretty good stand-alones. Love you more just gives you Tessa's background.
Nola Do all the Lisa Gardner books contain lots of bad language? I read
"The Neighbor" and was appalled at all the bad language. I'm hoping the other books don't contain bad language as I love mysteries and the summaries of her books look really good. Can someone please answer me?
John Toffee I'd say the fact that you know there is a second Tessa Leoni book then yes you might as well, but that very fact will spoil some of the suspense of Love You More. It certainly did for me.
Brenda I prefer to read a series in order, somewhat OCD in that regard, but I did read The Neighbor first of all of the DD Warren series. Since it was so good I went back to the first in the series and have been reading them almost non stop since!
