Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Neil Hayes My academic research examined the capabilities of the "unconscious" mind, which naturally led me to a study of Eastern psychology, and then the practice of meditation. I actually intended to ordain as a Buddhist monk in the 1980s, but my negative equity prevented me from giving away all my possessions! That was not the path for me, as it turns out, and I have no regrets. My book describes what I have learnt through almost three decades of meditation and studying the mind.
