If a writer is honest then the best thing would be seeing their hours, days, weeks or months of toil finally pay off when you can look on websites or book shop shelves and see you completed book up there with all the others.
I enjoy writing, (especially my poetry) and I enjoy the idea that a part of me will always live on; a legacy to leave behind for my loved ones.
If somebody likes what I have done and tells me so...then that is the cherry on the cake!
