(view spoiler)[How did you get names Elan and Maribor in Riyria revelations, since Elan is a major sports company and Maribor a city in Slovenia I just found it a little strange.
And another question in a Riyria revelations Marius Merrick is making a copy of enchanted medallion. What happened with it? Did Marius had enchanted medallion or a copy?
Loved the books. (hide spoiler)]

I have a long list that I'm constantly adding to when I come across a word that looks like a neat place. Mari is where Maribor comes from and shows how "Mari born" changed over the years. Elan got on the list just because I was playing with the "look" of characters and any similarities to place or things in this world are just coincidence. That's not always the case - but in these examples it is.

A lot of people are curious about the medallion. I'll start with the first part. He was making a copy in case the Patriarch asked him to turn over the one he took from Degan. As it turns out he died before such an event could occur - but Merrick is the type to plan ahead. And yes he was wearing "the real one" when he went over the bridge. Some have speculated that the "little bit of luck" that it offers could have meant he landed well enough to live through the fall. For me, I don't think that's true - He died and his body has been carried down stream. I'm sure at some point it will be found and someone might come across that bit of silver and take it for their own. It would be interesting to spin something off of that possibility - maybe someday.

Hi Michael! I just finished Revelations and I am currently on Chronicles. Unfortunately I’m not much of a reader because of my ADD, but the way you write Riyria like a movie has helped SO MUCH. Thank you for that!! One of my favorite supporting characters throughout Revelations was Wyatt. What was your thought process in writing his story specifically? Have him and Allie always been together? What happened to her mom?

I know I have asked this before but cannot find it - I just saw Age of Empyre is available to pre-order on Audible.com - does it in any way diminish your chance at hitting best-seller lists if I pre order it? Is it better to wait until first week of release? Sorry for repeat question but I have memory issues yet a zeal to proselytize your sales :)

It appears that you aren't planning more Ryria for a really long time. The problem seems to be the time period, I mean you're saying that you could either write pre Ryria or post Ryria. ? My idea is this: You have written about some of their adventures in a particular time period but they must have had more within that time. They weren't always involved in world changing events.
