I really enjoyed your last book. It seemed a bit more complex and layered in the villain and the final confrontation. Do you see yourself using subplots or plot devices such as an item that moves the plot rather than a character?

Do you mean like a MacGuffin-type object that everyone is after, a la the Maltese Falcon? Many of my plots are the heroine trying to figure out what the villains are up to, not necessarily chasing after a magic ring, sword, etc.
I'll never say never, and it might be a fun type of story to write someday, but I don't see myself doing a MacGuffin-type plot anytime soon.

I really like your Elemental Assassin series and I feel that Gin is such a perfect heroine for it. I like Finn too and the whole crew you've presented in the books. While I haven't been able to catch up on the recent novels, my friends keep informing me how exciting your books are. So I just wanted to ask you, how much more Gin action will we get? And how many more mysteries is she going to unearth?
