What gave you the ideas for Eli's and Victor's powers in Vicious? Did you give any of the characters different powers initially, then change them once the story got underway?

I really enjoyed the short story set directly after the happenings of The Unbound. Will we be seeing any other short stories from that series as we eagerly await the next book in the series? P.S. Loved seeing things from Wes's POV.
