if i was going to read my first jane austen novel, would this be a good pick? i thought about reading emma first but persuasion sounds really good. thanks!

Katie It's shorter than the others, so in that way it may be a good place to start. However, I felt that this book's language was less accessible than Pride and Prejudice or Sense and Sensibility. So if you're not very comfortable with this time period, I personally would start with another.(less)
