I go running a couple of times a week and, while it's good for me, it's also boring. So years ago I took to just telling myself stories as I ran and those often become the basis of my books. I think it's the combination of listening to music while exerting oneself and then letting the mind wander that opens you up to interesting ideas.

I just finished Spellsinger (as here in the Czech Republic we have only the first one released so far, but the second book is going to be released in the coming weeks) and I was really amazed by the irony and fun when Ferius Parfax or Reichis are on the scene and talk. It is hilarious. Did you use somebody from a real life as a model for Ferius? Thanks. Oh and btw the covers are just magical...
