There is an inner spirit of Genius inside us all I believe just waiting to get in touch with us and teach us the Higher Wisdom. Find that Genius - what the Greeks called our Daimon - and just write from your inspiration.
Of course if you want to make money out of your writing like Dan Brown or JK Rowlings you will have to compromise your Genius - some would say prostitute it - and put it in a form that is palatable to the big publishing houses and the commercial reading markets. None of them are interested in true genius or art, just in churning out one Hollywood script novel after another. The big money you see is in films - so if your book can easily translate into a face paced thriller or romance then you are home..
My book Mooniana is an attempt at writing a book through what Blake would have called the Visionary Genius of the Human Imagination and Jung would have called diving into the archetypes of the collective unconscious. I just call it writing out from my own vision of Gnosis and thereby pleasing my Muse the Goddess of Wisdom Lady Sophia - she is very busy at this time trying to heal the Kore of the World Soul as well as making an imprint on the literature, culture and philosophy of the human race, by bringing something totally new into the world ..
I believe it is the artist's responsibility to play their part in this process by awakening their individual Gnosis and Genius and acting as conduits for their Muse and assisting in the healing of the planet and the psycho spiritual evolution of humanity. I have tried to make my own small contribution to this by writing and publishing my book Mooniana.
