Viblackberri asked Alessandra Torre:

What were your husbands initial thoughts of your gender of writing and what are his thoughts now? Did it change your relationship? If so, how? Do you keep your writing and reality separate? Sorry if i'm getting personal. It's a bad habit of mines.

Alessandra Torre My husband has always been 100% supportive of my writing. He is the one who initially pushed me to write and he has always supported it financially.

I think my success did change our relationship - it made it stronger. Before, I think there was a part of him that wondered if I stayed with him, or married him, for financial stability. He likes knowing that I could leave him at anytime and haven't. That sounds like a really odd thing to say but we've discussed it a lot. Also, he knows that, if something ever happens to him, I won't have to struggle to pay our bills. That took a big pressure off of his shoulders, especially after he was diagnosed with cancer.
