Are you able to read a book with a open mind or do you often think "I would have done this differently, if I had wrote this book"? What are you currently reading? Thank you for the taking the time to answer my questions.

For the most part, I don't get distracted second-guessing plot choices. On the other hand, I do have a hard time overlooking clumsy prose style, simplistic characters, or an abundance of cliches, and these are faults that often make me put something down permanently; I don't finish the vast majority of books that I start. Life is short and there are many great things to read, and I don't want to waste time on books that I don't love. Right now I'm reading an advance copy of a debut novel by Chris Holm called "The Killing Kind."

Hi Mr. Pavone, The Accident was a favorite read of mine last year and I shared it with many of my reading friends as much as I could. I recently finished a book that focused on authors and their personal bookshelves, one of the standing questions for all them or theme if you will, was that they had a book or two that they always go back to. I wondered what is one or two books that you enjoy revisiting time and again?
