(view spoiler)[I have a question about Luke. He seemed ticked off about Eva's make-over. Why? Had he told the others about her? Is that why they wouldn't let her leave? How did he feel about Eva doing a major make over to be worthy for him? How did he feel about that being the reason she avoided him after his father's funeral? When did his attitude shift from wanting a temporary thing with Eva to a more permanent one? (hide spoiler)]

Luke was ticked off about Ava's makeover because Luke liked Ava just as she was. However, in that very moment, it was more. He needed her after his father died. When they were younger, she was there for him, understood him, had been there for him while he was dealing with his father's abuse so he needed her comfort (specifically - of anyone in his life, she "got it"). And she blew him off. He had no idea why. She just disappeared. And thus his anger was justified (in that moment).
As for the others not letting her leave, in this series, there's an intentional self-awareness of the characters to the fictional situations going on. They, themselves, make fun of the fantasy romances that are occurring in an kind of insta-love type way. They take bets on how soon a Hot Bunch guy will nail his girl. The boys joke about how long it takes to wear the chicks down. It was my attempt to inject some post-modernism into a romance series. So, in that scene in the book, with already four romances for the Hot Bunch under their belts, the other characters realized that Ava was likely Luke's Rock Chick and they were detaining her for that purpose.
As for your other questions, it's been a while since I read the book, darlin'. But I do think they're all answered within the pages. :-)

Hi Kristen! HUGE Fan! In "Sweet Dreams", I was curious why Tate & Lauren didn't have a child together. With her being early 40's and Jonas only being 10/11 at the time, did you consider it or was it always the plan for them not to have a baby? That scene were they are discussing her not having kids was so touching. Thanks for all your books, they are amazing!

Hi! Since reading For you and after that the last book I've been dying to know Kate's story and what happened with Dane after that. Is she ever going to get her Novel or Novella or even an extra? I'm so curious about her story that I'm going out of my mind. And Keira's story would interest me too so maybe like one story as a follow-up for the siblings? Do you think you'd ever write something like that?
