It's great if you're an intelligent, mature middle-schooler, but it's also probably a safe bet that you don't quite have the life experience and emotional intelligence to really process heavy themes like rape, morality and social justice. I first read this at 13 and while I 'understood' it, it wasn't until I re-read it in college that I finally 'got' it.(less)
