What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Alex E. Carey You can work in your pj's. Okay, maybe not that, but it's on the list. One of the nice things is being your own boss, but that can also be your curse. You can work at times that you feel the most creative, but you also have to be disciplined. The thing I like the best, though, is being able to create and use my imagination. Creating characters is a fun part of writing, imagining what they are like, who they are, what they feel. They become almost like friends. When you finish writing for the day, you tell them good night, and know they'll be there waiting for you when you return.
