Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Charles Hash Its was a collective of sources that inspired me, from the degradation of moral fiber within the characters on Breaking Bad, to the strength and resilience shown by Ripley in the first two Alien films. Also, I wanted to incorporate the expansive, gritty world that George RR Martin has displayed in his Song of Ice and Fire series within the confines of Science Fiction and Horror. Last but not least, was the lack of strong, female lead characters that do not need a man to save them, define them, or complete them.

Do you like Magic Realism and the Sophianic Quest Novel? Like you I have just published a book - not horror but has quite a bit of dark Gothic in it when one of the characters meets Hecate and the shades of the Nix.
