Is the Starflight series based in the same universe as alienated and invaded?

Melissa Landers Excellent question! No, the two series are completely separate. There aren't aliens in the Starflight books, only humans from Earth who've terraformed new worlds in a galactic "westward expansion" movement. The Starflight series is also different from the Alienated series because each book (there are 2 so far) stands alone. The first novel, Starflight, is narrated by Doran Spaulding and Solara Brooks. The second book is narrated by a pair of supporting characters from Starflight--Kane Arric and Cassia Rose--while Doran and Solara take a supporting role. So really, the second book is more of a companion novel than a sequel.
