In my opinion, the book is nearly always better than the movie, and this was no exception. The film was well received, generally garnering 4 out of 5 stars, but I personally didn't like it at all--in fact, I didn't even bother to finish it. The book, on the other hand, has become one of my all-time favorite Halloween reads. (less)
