Thanks for reading, Rebecca (and I'm glad you liked it)! I have a few things in the works, though I fear that my progress has not been as swift as I would like--between the demands of a rather demanding job and having a very active 20-month-old (and one more on the way), writing time is scarce!
That said, there are a couple of projects that are underway that I'm particularly excited about. I'm noodling a bit with a sequel to The Camelot Shadow (though I'm also contemplating a prequel), and something completely different that I'll cover in a different post at a later date. More details to come on both fronts!
There's one other project that I hope to be able to share a preview of soon. In tandem with my good friend and dynamic collaborator Bret Bowman, I'm working on a graphic novel version of a "book" that I wrote at the tender age of 8 called Cheesecalibur. In keeping with the Arthurian theme of The Camelot Shadow, Cheesecalibur is a whimsical interpretation of the Arthur legend featuring mice and cats that mixes fast-paced plotting and high adventure with the slapstick comedy of Bugs Bunny at his best. The script for the first issue is in the can, and Bret's hard at work on the art. I'm hoping we'll be able to share some sketches and a couple of pages in the next few months to whet readers' appetites!
