Amber asked Melissa Marr:

This is more a question about your books in WL physically. I noticed that under the jacket of the hardcover version of Fragile Eternity, there's a picture rather than a solid color/material. Are any of the other books in WL (or any other series) like this? I love when books have little "secrets" in the flaps of jackets or inside pages and the like.

Melissa Marr My hardcover GRAVEMINDER has my signature etched into ever cover, so in essence every hardcover US edition is autographed. I did the signature page, gave it to them, & they put it on all the books.

INK EXCHANGE has the tattoo that I had designed by my own tattooist for the character.

ARRIVALS paperback has a free short story, so does FRAGILE ETERNITY paperback . . . & so will CARNIVAL paperback.

I love those secrets too. :) My characters' name for example usually have a hidden meaning. Various characters read my friends' books. Seth's surname is the last name of my first love. . . and my new book (Feb 2016) has a hint in two of main characters' name (Lily & Zephyr). The Zephyr Lily is a flower whose meaning is a plot clue.

So . . . yeah. I like secrets, clues, & hints a lot. :)
