I leave the book be for a bit and go do something else. I find that the idea I need to continue will come to me if I'm not thinking about it, so if I'm working in the garden or washing dishes, for example. I also have friends who are willing to let me talk at them about my current plot, and the next scene comes put of those discussions a lot too.
