I've been shamelessly trying to invent an interesting question I haven't seen you answer a billion times before and I think this is the one--which character are you most proud of creating? As in, which character gives you particular joy in their complexity or surprises or personality? Not necessarily a "good guy" character...just the most intriguing one, I suppose.

Shannon Messenger Well, I don't know if I am the "most" proud of any character--I'm proud of each for different reasons.

But one of the characters who's the most challenging for me to write is Keefe, so I'm always very proud when I manage to write a good Keefe scene. He can be very uncooperative! :)
