Juliet Marillier:
Hi there! I have read the Sevenwaters series countless times as well as a many of your other series. I always go to Sevenwaters when I need to escape! I love the celtic folklore you include in the books and was wondering if you have any recommendations on where to find a good collection of those? I have the big Irish one by Lady Gregory but the writing style is hard for me to get into. Thank you

Thanks for the question, Meredith. There are lots of collections of Irish folklore available, and possibly just checking out your local library might provide something a bit more accessible than the Lady Gregory collection. I do often use a book called Early Irish Myths and Sagas, in the Penguin Classics series. The style is a bit easier than the Lady Gregory but you might still find it hard to get into. You might like Tales of the Celtic Otherworld, compiled and edited by John Matthews, published in 1998 by Blandford, a nice collection with illustrations. Not sure if it's still in print.
I hope that's helpful!
