Auburn Book
Auburn Book asked Brenda Novak:

Why? How? I do not understand the subplot of book 6. The entire time I was praying that it wouldn't take. The repercussions - and Chey was SO HYPOCRITICAL in the book. I couldn't finish it. I am so...it ruined the entire book and Chey and Dylan's story. Never in a million years would I be okay with the love of my life fathering my sister's child. And taking part in the process? Who does that?

Brenda Novak Hi Auburn--

I'm sorry you're so upset by the subplot in COME HOME TO ME. Chey was trying to protect her husband. She acted out of love, to give him a baby with his own DNA without him having to know that it wasn't his. Aaron did it for the same reason--love for his proud brother. Dylan would never leave Chey, even if he finds out, because he would understand that her intentions were pure. It isn't as if she slept with his brother. She merely used the closest DNA she could find to give him what he most wanted, without him having to live with the reality. I thought it would be an interesting way to give Chey and Dylan some more face time, and I can assure you that all is not as it seems and will work out in a future book.
