When you were writing the Moonbase Alpha series, did you draw an outline of the base before writing all the books? And if so, how detailed was it?

Stuart Gibbs Yes, one of the very first things I did, before I wrote a single word, was to figure out what the base looked like. I spent a lot of time researching and designing bases before I came up with a design that I liked. It was quite detailed. A version of my plans is shown in the end pages for Space Case.
