Hi, Carol Annie! Thank you so much. That means so much. “Heartfelt” is an excellent way to describe what inspires me, actually. I find inspiration everywhere, and it’s always based on emotion. I might hear a song or a news story, and I feel in my heart what my character will feel in the book, and it builds from there. The ultimate goal, of course, is to give readers that same feeling in their hearts.

I have read everything Fool's Gold, Blackberry Island and have pre -ordered all three new Fool's Gold CD's and Mischief Bay. When you are writing a series, do you plan out the entire character list or do you develop it as you create the story? It seems as though it would be difficult to strategize the entire character list, locations and professions.
