Since I think Mischief Bay is one if your best work, I have a two part question: 1) who are your inspirations for each woman? Each lady has experiences we can relate to no matter our age 2) will the series be based on these women or like Fiil's Gold will Mischief Bay be the star!

Wow, thank you, Dona. That is so nice to hear! I've been getting lots of great comments from readers on The Girls of Mischief Bay. And hey... an average of 4.41 stars here on Goodreads, so yay!

The women in Mischief Bay were not inspired by specific people, so I can't really give you a "who." :) They were each inspired by an idea. I wanted to find an engaging way to look at the different stages of motherhood. Nicole is the young mom of an almost five-year-old. Pam's kids are grown, and she has to figure out how to redefine herself. And Shannon is a woman who put off motherhood and now wonders whether it's too late for her.
Each Mischief Bay book will focus on three different women, although Nicole will return as one of the heroines of book 2, which I'm writing now. With my books, I guarantee that readers will finish the story feeling good about the world. The happy sigh is what I'm going for. Because of this, I think it would be difficult for me to write a series that focused on the same characters every time because without conflict, there is no story, and I want their happy endings to stick. ;) (Nicole is the exception to that, and since you've read the book, I'm sure you understand why. I don't want to post any spoilers, but I will say that I think this will make readers very, very happy.)

Love Fool's Gold!!! I love all the unique and quirky characters that you create and evolve, Felicia being my favorite!! Have you ever thought about bringing a psychiatrist to Fool's Gold? The interaction and exchange could be interesting and hilarious. Please keep on writing this fantastic series!
