I know that there are Chinese mystery writers, but I'm sorry to say that I'm not educated or knowledgeable about them. I wish I could be of more help. If you put a list together, I hope you'll share it with me.

I'm almost out of your novels to read, and I'm holding off on reading "Peony in Love", the only one I haven't read yet, because I simply don't know what to do once I've finished it. Do you have any recommendations for me that I can look forwards to after this last novel? Good historical fiction books on China, or on anything else? Oh, and are you working on or planning any projects in the future?

My new daughter-in-law is from Indonesia. Her parents are Indonesian and Chinese. She has told us about "coining" and in her case it has permanently scarred her back. I'm curious if you have ever written about it? Also wondering if you have written any books that includes any history of the migration of Chinese to Indonesia?
