Are both Neville and Harry the chosen ones? Could Neville have defeated Voldemort if he picked him instead of Harry? I love the Harry Potter's a lot and was always wondering this?

It could have been Harry or it could have Neville, but he wasn't sure so he chose Harry because like him, Harry is a half-blood. Harry mentions this a few times, stating how different his life would have been if Voldemort had chose Neville instead. BUT Neville is really brave, and I'm sure if he was the chose one, he would have been just as much of a challenger as Harry was. (less)
