Wojtek Generally speaking: yes

Reading order should be: The Last wish -> Sword of Destiny -> Saga (starting with Blood of Elves)
There is Storm season, published recently. I’d say it could be read after saga
Erin Burns In publishing order , yes. Chronologically, no. The Order to read them if you wish to do so Chronologically is : Season of Storms, The Last Wish, Sword of Destiny, Blood of Elves, Time of contempt, Baptism of Fire, The Swallows Tower, and Lady of the Lake.
Niels Bugge This is a prequel, and a pretty bad one.

Move straight to Blood of Elves, because: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Miastar Yes and no. There are two books of short stories and a novel consisting of further five books (and recently there is a new stand-alone novel, but I don´t think it´s been translated yet). You can meet many characters in all the books and the environment is the same, but only the saga connects properly.
Matthew No, "The Road With No Return" which was originally written in 1988, is a prequel to the Witcher series. It explains how Visenna (Geralt's mother) met Korin who is widely believed to be his father.

Originally Sapkowski did not intend to link the "The Road With No Return" to the Witcher series. The idea came to him later on when he wanted to incorporate the original story into the Witcher universe and did not want to lose such a pretty name as Visenna.
M. Chronologically yes.
