Elizabeth Hoyt Ha! My beta reader has said (rather sardonically) that poor Hippolyta Royle is everyone's invisible friend. I keep trying to involve her more in the books, but so far, it just hasn't happened. I do plan for her to have her own book and I do know her entire (extensive!) back story, so hopefully she'll be showing up more on the page soon. Hippolyta isn't related to anyone, she's an heiress, recently returned from India with her father, and a member of the Ladies’ Syndicate for the Benefit of the Home for Unfortunate Infants and Foundling Children.
