Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Azin Sametipour The idea of Tehran Moonlight came to me when I was visiting my family in Iran and saw how much the country and the culture had changed since I left. I liked how the girls had more freedom and I also envied them since I didn’t possess that freedom when I was living there. But I knew that even the society had opened up to some extent, not all the families were willing to accept that and let their daughters to live their lives the way they wanted to. Mahtab, the protagonist in Tehran Moonlight, is one of those girls.
