H asked Emma Abdullah:

How would you rate your own book, from an objective viewpoint?

Emma Abdullah Hi,thanks for the question.

I think it's very difficult to be 'objective' but 'The Blue Box' was very much a first for me and I think I've grown a lot as a writer since. Because it was written over two years, I grew as I worked on it as well and I believe that's something that can be seen throughout the book; in some parts of it, I'm barely fourteen and in others,I speak with a bit more experience. I tend to be extremely critical of my work in general which is both good and bad. To answer your question, I'm not exactly sure how I would rate it but it's definitely become a part of me now and a significant part of growing as a writer.
