Hi! Your books really helped me through life. I have writer's block only on certain important characters and how the story will go. Do you have the same problem? Also, what inspired you to have most of the demigods have ADHD? (p.s. I have it that's why)

Rick Riordan You are describing the writing process as I understand it! It hardly ever flows easily. Most of the time it involves being blocked. I'd like to tell you it gets easier, but it really doesn't. For me, I've just learned not to despair and to forge ahead even if I don't feel like the first draft is going well (first drafts NEVER go well). Just write. Get the words out. They are probably not going to be very good the first time around, but that's okay. Once you have a full story written, you can edit at your heart's content, and while revising isn't easy, either, it's WAY better than starting at an empty screen or a blank page.
