I love the character names in your books - especially Honoria, Iris, and Benedict... and Miss Butterworth, of course! I have been wondering how you choose names for new characters. Do you have a method, look for inspiration, or wait for the perfect name to come along?

Julia Quinn I'm not sure I have a method, but there are a few different places I tend to look. I went to boarding school in England during my gap year, for example, and I still have my student directory. I also go to baby naming sites on the web, but I have to make sure I'm going to the ones with historically accurate names.
