Did Ember's father ever move to Doldastam with his wife? I remember his promise to Mrs. Holmes, but I don't recall seeing him mentioned at Ember's house in Frostfire (unless I am mistaken and just forgot him).

Yes, he did move and lives with them. He simply wasn't mentioned in the scene because there were already a lot of characters, and I didn't want to shove in more that didn't have a purpose in it. I think it I do say that Ember lives with her parents, but her father isn't specifically mentioned just because he doesn't have anything specific to do with the story. :)

Are you ever considering to finish the "My Blood Approves" series? It has been years, but it is still my favorite series from my favorite author, and I wish you would give us a last closure. It's breaking my heart that everything seems unresolved. Despite the hate you received from some fans, they shouldn't matter because there are fans who are still expecting great things from you and have always received them :)
