As I'm currently in the 100% aspiring phase, I would say try to remember why you keep writing more words and then pages and then chapters in the first place. And to try and finish it one way or the other! Any future possible developments aside, when someone asks what's up it is magical to be able to hand them a finished book instead of a sheepish life update.
