Dianna Richards
Dianna Richards asked Erica Ridley:

Who writes the cover descriptions for the books. Is that you? Or does your publishing house do that?

Erica Ridley It depends! When I write for the bigger publishing houses, they hire professionals to come up with targeted cover copy. (In fact, I don't always get to pick my own book titles!) But when I write for a smaller house or publish a story independently, I do have a voice in what goes on the cover. I'm actually terrible at writing cover copy, though, so I'm glad it's not left up to me!
