I love your writing in all of your incarnations, but Amanda Quick is my absolute favorite. Otherwise Engaged is one of my all time favorites from your recent work, but I am curious about what the Ladies of Lantern Street. I had the impression that there would be three books, one for each of the friends from Crystal Gardens. Will that be a trilogy or is the last friend out of luck and not getting a book?

Jayne Ann Krentz Thanks for the question, Anne. I'm not sure when I'll get back to the Ladies of Lantern Street. For now I am having a lot of fun writing straight romantic-suspense in my Amanda Quick Victorian world. (Glad to hear you enjoyed Otherwise Engaged, by the way. Between you and me, I pretty much built that whole story around that interesting fan weapon the heroine carries.) But I never say never and if you have followed my career for a while you know that I have always liked to flirt with the paranormal. So stay tuned...
