Morgan
Morgan asked Elise Manion:

Thank you for "Jason's Princess". It was beautifully written! What made you decide to become a writer or to start writing in the first place?

Elise Manion Hi Morgan! I'm glad you enjoyed JP and thank you for your kind words. I took a gamble putting it out there for the masses without hiring an editor, so saying that it was beautifully written means a great deal to me.

I wasn't joking in my bio; truly, I was messing around with a writing program on my Mac when JP started forming on my screen. So I can't say that I consciously decided to become a writer. However, once I started writing this story I couldn't stop. I signed up for writing workshops and classes while I was completing JP and I am attending my first conference in March in southern California.

I'm currently working on Jarod's Heart, but this time I will hire an editor. I've recently quit my day job, which is a huge no-no, so that I can get Jarod and Lauren's story in your hands as soon as possible. I also have a couple of other ideas floating around. Hopefully the King Brothers is only the beginning for me as a writer.

Congratulations on winning the contest! It was fun for me watching how that progressed too. And thank you for liking Jason's Princess, and please feel free to contact me on any of my social networks or here on GoodReads :)

Sincerely,
Elise
