Roxane Gay Thank you. I like my tattoos, too. Don't quit. Putting in the work without the recognition you want can be disheartening, but only you can decide what is "worth" it. There are no guarantees in any pursuit and especially not in writing. I love writing so I was always going to do it whether or not it panned out. That said, I had times when I gave up faith and thankfully, I had someone in my corner who kept the faith when I couldn't.
