This is mostly just out of curiosity but why did you choose to write under a pseudonym for the Fairwick Chronicles?

It was actually my publisher's suggestion. They thought that the Fairwick books were enough of a departure from my previous books that it might be confusing to my readers. Personally, I think my readers aren't so easily confused :) but I did see the point that it could be jolting for some. And getting to be Juliet Dark has been fun. She's a lot more daring than Carol Goodman (and has a better wardrobe).
