Zoe asked Nancy Springer:

Oh....just found this thread and am over the moon. I cite the Enola books frequently in my reviews (as in 'while not as good as the Enola Holmes series' or 'skip this and look up Nancy Springer's Enola Holmes books', etc., etc. Will the be children's books, or considered more for the teen market? (I work in a bookstore where there is quite a different market).

Nancy Springer Zoe, kudos for asking exactly the right question! My agent and I were discussing how to get Enola Holmes out of the kidlit ghetto. In Victorian times, teens functioned as adults, so it's not hard for me to write the next batch of books a little bit "older," hoping they will find a wider audience.
