Sam Ogurchak According to Matthew 22: 30; "For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven." This is part of Jesus' response to the Sadducee's question of marriage on the resurrection, if seven brothers marry the same woman who is the husband to that woman. According to the bible those whom Jesus has saved, by no work of their own, will be in heaven with him forever, with a glorified body and perfected heart, but will not be married. They will be of one body instead of as in earthly marriage where a man and woman become one; so in the resurrection people will be like the angels who are one.

David Layman I don't believe anyone can honestly say they can answer the angel question. I will say this. Angels are merely creatures, creatures that were created to do God's bidding and to glorify Him.

We, however, were created in the image of God. Created in the image of our creator. We are held in much higher esteem than that of the angels and because of this are entitled to all the convenental blessings and ceremonial rights. Pretty neat right?

My opinion, based on that. Is that no. As creatures created NOT in the image of God and created to glorify and serve Him, I do not believe they marry or have desire to do so.
