I fell in love with your books in high school when I checked them out at my local library. I was wondering how you get inspiration for your books? Some of my favorites are "The Angel Trilogy" "Rose for Melinda" "Don't Die My Love" and "Last Wish Series"

Lurlene McDaniel Sometimes a news story would prick my imagination, or an interview with someone struggling with a medical issue. Sick kids want the same things as well kids---friends, boy/girl friends, dates, dancing, sports, and to be loved. But they have the added tragedy of an illness or disability. They want what everyone wants, to be liked, accepted and loved. My stories revolve around their lives because I admire those who fight against all odds to find their place in life.
